Antique Victorian Solid Silver Sugar Tongs Large William Bateman and Daniel Ball

This is a stunning pair of antique silver sugar tongs hallmarked for London 1838 and made by the short lived partnership of William Bateman and Daniel Ball, making these a rare and collectible example! The silver is thick and heavy and the tongs are of exceptional quality which one would expect from the hand of William Bateman.
They measure approx 14cm end to end and are in excellent condition.
