Antique Victorian Solid Silver Cigarette Case Birmingham 1870 Miller Brothers

This is a beautiful antique cigarette case made from solid silver with a gilded interior. The design on the cigarette case is a beautiful art nouveau pattern of organic swirls and the shield shaped cartouche is ornately engraved with the initials RP. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1870 and the maker’s mark is for Miller Brothers
The clasp works perfectly although there is ni elastic inside. It is an absolutely stunning piece of antique silver. Often used nowadays for business cards or just as a decorative object.
